Pan African Competitiveness Forum (PACF) Seeks Partnership With NOTAP

The Pan African Competitiveness Forum is seeking partnership with the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) in promoting innovativeness in Africa.
Chairman Steering Committee of the Forum, Professor Peter Onwualu made this known during a courtesy visit to the Director General of NOTAP, Engr.Umar Buba Bindir.
Professor Onwualu said the visit is also to inform NOTAP of the forthcoming 4th Annual Conference of the Pan African Competitiveness Forum (PACE 2012) with the theme; ''Evolving Innovative Cluster Initiative for African Development:Issues and Modalities'' expected to hold from 4th to 9th November, 2012 in Abuja.
He solicited for NOTAPs partnership in the successful execution of the conference and other goals of the Forum.
Responding, Director General of NOTAP, Engr. Umar Bindir commended the Forum for its activities which he stressed is in line with the mandate of NOTAP and pledged the agency,s preparedness to work with the Forum for a successfull conference and for the implementation of its other programmes.
Among other officials of the Forum that accompanied the chairman on the visit are the Director General Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) Muhammad Nadada Umar, Acting Director General Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA) Suleiman Shuaibu and Director, Abuja Enterprise Agency, Dr. Muhammad Abdulaziz.
