CALL FOR INDICATION OF INTEREST IN THE NOTAP - INDUSTRY TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FELLOWSHIP (NITTF) SCHEME
Applications for support to participate in the NOTAP-INDUSTRY TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FELLOWSHIP (NITTF) scheme are invited from suitably Qualified Nigerians to undertake PhD studies in Nigerian Universities in all fields of study including, Technology, Basic & Applied Sciences, Waste Management, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Based Research in Dairy Farming, Plant Varieties and Seedlings.
This mode of fellowship will ensure speedy technology transfer National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) No. 4 Blantyre Street, off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent-Wuse II The NOTAP-Industry Technology Transfer Fellowship (NITTF) is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) platform designed to create indigenous critical technological competences of elite applied knowledge workers in Nigeria through special PhD programmes tenable in Nigerian Universities. The support is for a maximum Period of 4 years to be jointly implemented by NOTAP and Industry. The fellows will basically be all future academic workers in Universities and Research Institutes and will be required to enter into clear contracts/agreements with NOTAP, Industry, University Research Institute such that close relationship will be developed during the study period and after completing their studies, they will return as lecturers or Researchers in the Universities or Research Institutes (RIS).

METHOD OF APPLICATION Application forms can be obtained at www.notap.gov.ng/NITTF or at our Head/Zonal offices, which addresses are on our website. Completed forms with non-refundable application fee of N10,000.00 payable through Remita Platform into National Office Technology Acquisition and Promotion under NOTAP-Industry Technology Transfer Fellowship (NITTF) as service type. Application closes on 10th December, 2024. Considerations and shortlisting of candidates would dynamically depend on availability of fellowship positions. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via the email address provided. The operational guidelines on the NITTF can be accessed or downloaded from www.notap.gov.ng/NITTF.
